We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Land Development Project Manager to lead and oversee complex land development projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, managing project schedules, ensuring compliance with regulations, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Duties
- Lead the planning, design, and execution of land development projects, ensuring alignment with client goals and regulatory requirements
- Coordinate with civil engineers, architects, contractors, and local authorities to facilitate project progress
- Develop detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction scheduling software to monitor milestones and deadlines
- Prepare and review construction estimates utilizing HeavyBid or comparable estimating tools to ensure accurate budgeting
- Oversee site development activities, including grading, drainage, utilities, and infrastructure installation
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to ensure project specifications are met precisely
- Manage project documentation using construction management software such as ProCore or Bluebeam for seamless communication and record-keeping
- Conduct regular site visits to assess progress, enforce safety protocols, and resolve issues promptly
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and zoning laws throughout all project phases
- Facilitate effective project management by tracking time management metrics, coordinating project teams, and maintaining clear communication channels
Qualifications
- Proven experience in land development project management with a strong background in construction site operations and civil engineering projects
- Proficiency in construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other industry-standard tools
- Solid understanding of blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, contracts administration, and construction estimating techniques
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining strict adherence to schedules and budgets
- Excellent project coordination skills coupled with effective time management abilities
- Strong knowledge of construction processes such as grading, utilities installation, infrastructure development, and site planning
- Familiarity with construction site safety practices and environmental compliance standards
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred; relevant certifications are a plus
