Assistant Construction Project Manager

JD Rivet Roofing is looking for an Assistant Project Manager to join our team located in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Job Responsibilities

• Read and Interpret Bid Packages, Plans and Specifications from Engineers and Architects
• Develop Project Requirements Including Submittals, Schedules of Value, Labor, and Required Equipment
• Under Project Manager Supervision Communicate with Owners, Project Managers, Subcontractors, and Suppliers
• Understand Local Construction Regulations and Ensure Project Safety Requirements are Met
• Schedule and Coordinate JD Rivet Workforce and Subcontractors
• Assist in the Management of Subcontractor and Materials & Equipment Suppliers
• Partner with Project Managers to Manage Projects from Permit Application through Close-Out Documentation and Warranty Approval Including Resolution of Project Details & Change Orders

Job Requirements

• Experience Meeting Tight Project Deadlines
• Proven Track Record of Managing Multiple Responsibilities and Flexibility Responding to Changing Priorities
• Excellent Problem Solving Skills
• Strong Detail Orientation
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products
• Degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or Equivalent Work Experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50, $70,000.00 per year
