Short Order Cook

Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Part-Time Weekend Cook to join our culinary team In this role, you will bring your passion for food and exceptional cooking skills to create delicious, high-quality meals that delight our guests. Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook a variety of meals with precision, creativity, and consistency, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards that are made to order and require a short cooking time (Items like: appetizers, burgers/wraps/sandwiches, quesadillas, pizza, salad etc)
• Handle food preparation tasks such as chopping, portioning, and assembling ingredients efficiently and safely
• Maintain proper food handling procedures in compliance with food safety regulations to ensure guest safety and quality standards
• Support the kitchen team during service hours by managing food orders promptly and accurately
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment maintenance and sanitation practices

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or culinary roles within restaurants, catering services, or the food industry
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures. Must have active (or willing to obtain a Food Handler ServSafe Certificate)
• Experience working high volume a plus
• Ability to work efficiently during busy weekend shifts while maintaining attention to detail
• Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude and strong communication abilities
• MUST BE ABLE TO READ & COMMUNICATE IN ENGLISH
• REGULAR WEEKEND AVAILABLITY IS REQUIRED FOR THIS ROLE

Pay: $ $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 18.0 – 25.0 per week
