Inventory Associate

Essential Job Functions

• Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels; conduct regular physical counts and reconcile discrepancies with inventory records.

• Utilize inventory software to update records and track stock movements accurately.

• Efficiently organize warehouse space to ensure safe and easy access to materials and products.

• Implement and maintain organization systems that improve efficiency and reduce material handling time.

• Keep meticulous records of all inventory movements, including receipts, shipments, returns, and disposals.

• Ensure the integrity and accuracy of all inventory data.

• Assist in processing incoming and outgoing orders to ensure timely availability of materials for production and fulfillment of customer orders.

• Inspect incoming materials for quality and accuracy, promptly reporting any issues or discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager.

• Adhere to all safety guidelines within the warehouse setting.

• Maintain a clean and safe workspace to prevent accidents and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.

• Generate regular reports on inventory status, including discrepancies, adjustments, and other relevant activities, to keep management informed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in inventory management or related field is a plus.
• Previous experience in inventory management or a similar role, preferably within a manufacturing or construction environment.
• Knowledge of inventory management software and basic computer skills.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate record-keeping.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform other physically demanding tasks.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 per hour
