- Assist Area Manager in assigning crews to properties and ensuring proper labor, materials, and equipment allocation
- Support communication with clients, vendors, and subcontractors
- Assist in monitoring job progress and providing on-site guidance to ensure work meets company standards
- Assist with enforcement of safety procedures and policies in the field and at the shop
- Conduct routine property inspections to ensure quality workmanship and adherence to contract specifications
- Assist in adjusting manpower based on client requests, job priorities, and weather conditions
- Ensure crews have proper tools, vehicles, and materials for each job
- Assist in maintaining inventory of materials including fertilizer, turf application products, mulch, and plant materials
- Work closely with Area Managers and the Branch Manager to ensure customer satisfaction and resolve issues promptly
- Communicate daily with the Branch Manager, Area Manager, and Office Manager regarding progress, crew performance, and challenges
- Assist in tracking labor hours, equipment usage, and job costs for budget control
- Maintain accurate inventory of all equipment, parts, and shop supplies
- Establish and maintain minimum and maximum stock levels based on seasonal demand
- Track usage of high-turnover equipment and items and reorder as needed to prevent shortages
- Work closely with the mechanic to identify required parts and prioritize repairs
- Maintain records of repairs, parts installed, and equipment service history
- Ensure all chemical products are properly stored and labeled
- Assist with keeping shop areas clean, safe, and OSHA-compliant
- Assist with preventive maintenance schedules and tracking of fleet vehicles and equipment
- Oversee equipment maintenance schedules and report mechanical needs to the mechanic, Area Manager, and Branch Manager
- Assist with maintenance of the house and yard, enforcing tenants' responsibilities
- Assist with management of the VA lawn care program
Pay: $60, $70,000.00 per year
