At Ocotillo Services, we're looking for a Part-Time Salesperson who's outgoing, friendly, motivated, and ready to help grow our business one designer at a time. You'll be connecting with interior designers, property management companies, furniture galleries, and other clients to share what makes our receiving and warehouse services stand out across Southern California.

This isn't your typical sales job — it's about building relationships, not pushing products. If you enjoy meeting people, staying organized, and seeing results from your efforts, you might be exactly who we're looking for.

Job Purpose

You'll help expand Ocotillo Services' client base by developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing customers. Your goal is to understand their business needs, explain how our services can help, and guide them through onboarding with professionalism and care.

Job Duties

  • Reach out to potential clients via phone, email, and in-person visits
  • Schedule meetings with interior designers, property managers, and vendors
  • Explain Ocotillo Services' receiving and warehousing process
  • Maintain detailed notes on client interactions and follow-ups
  • Attend local design events or trade shows as needed
  • Collaborate with the warehouse and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding
  • Track and report leads, conversions, and commissions

Skills & Qualifications

  • Excellent communication and people skills
  • Comfortable making cold calls and in-person visits
  • Organized, persistent, and self-motivated
  • Professional appearance and demeanor
  • Sales experience is a must — we need someone who already knows how to connect, follow up, and close with confidence.
  • Basic computer skills for email, CRM notes, and scheduling
  • Please do not apply if you're consistently late, allergic to effort, or perpetually grumpy

Schedule & Pay

  • Part-time: 20-25 hours per week
  • Flexible weekdays
  • $25 per hour plus commission on new customer accounts
  • Some local travel required (Palm Springs and San Diego showrooms)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00 per hour
