Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our educational team. Duties
- Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards across subjects such as literacy education, math, science, and social studies.
- Create an inclusive classroom environment that promotes active learning, positive behavior management, and respectful interactions among students.
- Incorporate various teaching strategies including Montessori methods, differentiated instruction, and early intervention techniques to meet diverse student needs.
- Utilize learning technology tools to enhance instruction and engage students effectively.
- Assess student progress through formative and summative evaluations, including standardized testing preparations.
- Provide individualized support through tutoring and mentoring to help students overcome learning challenges.
- Collaborate with special education staff to adapt lessons for students with autism or other special needs.
- Manage classroom routines efficiently while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for children.
- Engage in ongoing professional development related to curriculum development, literacy education, behavior management, and other relevant areas.
- Contribute to school activities such as library services, extracurricular programs, and community events to enrich student experiences.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; additional certifications in early childhood education are preferred.
- Proven classroom experience with children at the elementary level; experience working with students in private school settings is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, colleagues, and administration.
- Proficiency in lesson planning, curriculum development, and assessment strategies including standardized testing preparation.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with learning technology platforms and tools for instruction enhancement.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods for diverse learners using inclusive practices such as Montessori or early intervention strategies.
- Excellent proofreading and writing skills for creating instructional materials and reports.
- Experience working with children requiring additional support or specialized programs such as tutoring or library services is desirable. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $ $30.00 per hour
