Information Technology Software Engineer- DS

We are seeking a
Senior Software Engineer
with strong leadership, architectural insight, and hands-on engineering expertise. The role involves guiding junior developers, owning end-to-end delivery within defined workstreams, and collaborating closely with cross-functional stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Mentor and lead junior engineers while driving high-quality technical delivery.
• Design and develop scalable, distributed, asynchronous systems across multi-machine environments.
• Build robust APIs using
  Python (OOP)
  and support full development lifecycle including design, coding, testing, and deployment.
• Partner with business and technical teams to define requirements and deliver high-value solutions.
• Lead or contribute to design, development, and testing activities; provide expert support for troubleshooting and production fixes.
• Advise on technical and functional challenges across assigned applications and infrastructure.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in
  Python OOP
  and API development.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, consistency, immutability, and conflict-free design.
• Hands-on experience with
  SQL/Oracle databases

• Proficiency with
  Docker
  ,
  Kubernetes
  ,
  Kafka
  , and cloud platforms (
  Azure/AWS
  ).
• Familiarity with message brokers (RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ, AWS SQS, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, testing, and automation capabilities.
• Experience with
  DevOps
  ,
  CI/CD
  , and version control tools (e.g., GitHub).
• Proven ability to independently deliver within project scopes and mentor junior engineers.
