Bartender

Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages with precision and flair, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, providing excellent customer service that enhances their overall experience.
• Manage POS systems such as Toast to process orders accurately and efficiently while handling cash and credit transactions securely.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar and surrounding areas in compliance with food safety standards and health regulations.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure a safe environment for all patrons.
• Restock bar supplies, garnishes, glassware, and beverages as needed to keep the bar fully equipped during business hours.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a bartender in fine dining, nightclub, or banquet settings is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with POS systems such as TOAST; strong basic math skills for cash handling and retail math calculations.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly while managing multiple tasks efficiently through effective time management.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service practices.
• Ability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends.
• Experience with serving alcohol in a hospitality or food industry environment; retail math skills are advantageous.
