We are looking for a diligent Receiving Clerk to join our logistics team in Columbus, Ohio. In this vital role, you will be the first point of contact for incoming shipments, ensuring that all goods are accurately received, inspected, and processed into our inventory system. Your responsibilities will include unloading trucks, verifying packing slips against received items, checking for damages, and documenting any discrepancies. Proper use of equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified) may be required. Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe receiving area is crucial, and strict adherence to all safety procedures, including the consistent wearing of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), is mandatory. This position involves regular lifting, pushing, and pulling of items, often weighing up to 50 pounds. A strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential for accurate record-keeping and inventory management. We seek reliable, efficient individuals who are committed to upholding our high standards of operational excellence and safety in our logistics operations. Prior experience in a receiving or warehouse role is highly beneficial.
