Our facility in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to add to our growing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. You will be a vital part of our supply chain, ensuring timely movement of goods within the warehouse. Responsibilities include inspecting the forklift before and after use, reporting any issues, and adhering to all operating and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of safe forklift operation, excellent spatial awareness, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be expected to work collaboratively with other warehouse staff to ensure smooth operations. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse procedures and the ability to handle various types of materials. Attention to detail is crucial for accurate inventory management and preventing damage to products. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area. Understanding of Shipping and Receiving procedures is beneficial. Proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required at all times. The role involves regular Lifting of goods, some of which may be heavy. This is a key position within our Logistics network. A strong emphasis is placed on Safety and efficient Material Handling. Must have a valid forklift certification or be willing to obtain one. Experience with different types of forklifts, such as sit-down, stand-up, and reach trucks, is a plus. We foster a culture of safety and encourage all employees to report any potential hazards. Excellent hand-eye coordination and the ability to work at heights may be required depending on the specific duties.
