Join our expanding logistics operation as a Warehouse Worker in sunny Orlando, Florida. In this essential role, you will contribute to the seamless flow of goods through our distribution center. Your responsibilities will encompass a variety of tasks, including receiving and inspecting incoming shipments, stocking merchandise, picking and packing orders, and preparing items for dispatch. We rely on our Warehouse Workers to maintain an organized and safe work environment, ensuring that our logistics operations run efficiently. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming inventory for accuracy and damage.
- Sort and stock products in designated warehouse locations using appropriate equipment.
- Pick products accurately according to customer orders, using scanning devices.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product protection.
- Stage completed orders for carrier pickup and assist with loading trucks.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness throughout the warehouse, including aisles and workstations.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and procedures, prioritizing a safe working environment.
- Properly use all required PPE, such as safety vests, gloves, and steel-toed boots.
- Participate in inventory counts and assist in maintaining inventory accuracy.
- Collaborate effectively with supervisors and team members to meet operational targets within the logistics framework.
Qualifications:
- Previous warehouse or general labor experience is highly preferred.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 60 lbs.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in all tasks.
- Familiarity with warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies) is beneficial.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Understanding of basic logistics principles and warehouse operations.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours and occasional overtime as needed.
- A proactive approach to safety and willingness to follow all guidelines.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
