Our distribution center in Raleigh, North Carolina is looking for energetic and dependable Distribution Center Associates. This role is essential to the smooth operation of our facility, encompassing a wide range of responsibilities from receiving goods to preparing them for shipment. As a Distribution Center Associate, you'll be involved in stocking shelves, picking and packing orders, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and accurately record incoming shipments.
- Organize and stock products in designated warehouse areas.
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using provided tools and systems.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently to ensure product safety during transit.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, managing inbound and outbound inventory flow.
- Operate material handling equipment, such as pallet jacks, safely and effectively after proper training.
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the warehouse, upholding safety standards.
- Strictly adhere to all safety protocols, including the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory management processes, such as cycle counting.
- Handle tasks requiring physical exertion, including regular Lifting of products, and utilize safe Lifting techniques.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center setting is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Capability to perform frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
- Punctuality, reliability, and a strong commitment to work quality.
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new responsibilities within logistics.
- Thorough understanding of safety best practices and the critical importance of PPE.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
