We are hiring a Receiving Clerk for our busy warehouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. In this crucial role within our logistics department, you will be responsible for managing all incoming goods. This includes unloading trucks, verifying the contents of shipments against packing slips and purchase orders, inspecting items for damage, and accurately recording received inventory into our system. Your attention to detail and organizational skills will ensure the integrity of our inventory from the point of receipt. The ideal candidate is punctual, efficient, and capable of working effectively in a team-oriented environment. Basic computer proficiency and familiarity with warehouse procedures are beneficial. Safety is paramount; therefore, all employees are required to use appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and follow established safety protocols. This position involves regular Lifting of boxes and packages, so the ability to lift up to (X) pounds and practice safe lifting techniques is essential.
