We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented part-time permanent Office Manager to join our team of accounting professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing office operations, basic bookkeeping, and providing administrative support. They will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our accounting practice, ensuring that our office runs smoothly and efficiently.

Hours: 10:00am to 4:00pm

Days: Monday through Thursday in office

Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Managing Partner and other staff members
  • Manage client onboarding and engagement
  • Handle client inquiries and requests
  • Schedule appointments, maintain calendars, and keep contact information up to date
  • Prepare and distribute meeting agendas and minutes
  • Maintain office supplies and equipment
  • Greet clients and visitors in a professional and courteous manner
  • Resolve office-related issues promptly and efficiently
  • Light bookkeeping based on needs

Qualifications:

  • 2-5 years of experience in office management or accounting
  • Helpful if candidate has experience with bookkeeping software, such as QuickBooks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; comfort on the phone and conversing with people.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
