Multi Drop Delivery Driver

Overview
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle physical demands associated with loading and unloading cargo.

Responsibilities

• Operate delivery vehicles, including vans, box trucks, and other commercial vehicles, in a safe and efficient manner.
• Load and unload goods from the vehicle, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Follow designated routes for deliveries, adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Conduct pre-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage and delivery confirmations.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery status and any issues that may arise.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including organizing inventory and performing heavy lifting tasks.

Skills

• Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Familiarity with route driving and navigation systems.
• Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for accurate record-keeping.
• Capability to perform heavy lifting as required during loading and unloading processes.
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with customers and team members.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential.
