Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Head Chef to lead our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen management and food production, with the ability to create innovative menus and ensure high-quality food service. As the Head Chef, you will be responsible for overseeing all kitchen operations, managing staff, and maintaining inventory control while delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Duties
- Lead and manage the kitchen team, ensuring effective communication and collaboration among staff members.
- Develop and design creative menus that reflect current culinary trends while meeting customer preferences.
- Oversee food production processes to ensure quality, consistency, and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering supplies, maintaining stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Supervise daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, plating, and presentation of dishes.
- Train and mentor kitchen staff in culinary techniques and best practices for food service.
- Coordinate with banquet services for large events or special occasions to ensure seamless execution of menu items.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen environment in compliance with health regulations.
Skills
- Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire kitchen staff.
- Proficient in inventory control practices to effectively manage supplies and reduce costs.
- Experience in banquet service and the ability to plan menus for large groups or events.
- Expertise in food production techniques with a focus on quality and presentation.
- Excellent kitchen management skills to oversee daily operations efficiently.
- Culinary creativity with a passion for developing new dishes that delight customers.
- Supervising experience in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of food service.
- Familiarity with bartending principles is a plus but not required.
