Our third location in Decatur features a brand-new concept: Club OODAZU Club OODAZU is a sports-centric space where kids, families, and teams come together. From youth sports coaching to adult leagues, from school-break camps to company events, our space helps bring people closer through play and growth on our indoor multi-sport courts and fields

Job Overview: As an OODAZU Crew Member, you're at the heart of the OODAZU experience. Our crew creates a fun, safe, and welcoming environment where kids can play, explore, and celebrate. Whether supervising play areas and leading activities or assisting with parties and guest check-ins, you help bring the OODAZU energy to life every day.

This is a hands-on, fast-paced role perfect for team players who love working with kids and families, thrive in high-energy settings, and take pride in creating memorable experiences. Crew Members embody our core values — positivity, teamwork, safety, and fun — in everything they do.

Qualifications

Required for all Crew Members:

• Must be at least 15 years old.
• Must be reliable, punctual, and have a strong sense of responsibility.
• A positive, energetic, and friendly attitude.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Availability to work evenings and/or weekends.
• Must pass a comprehensive background check.
• A genuine enjoyment for working with children is required. Prior experience working with children as a coach, teacher, or camp counselor is a plus.

Additional Requirements for Afternoon Enrichment Van Driver:

• Must be at least 25 years old.
• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and remain active for extended periods.
• Ability to bend, kneel, and squat.
• Must be able to lift up to 25-40 pounds (e.g., supplies, tables, small children in case of emergency).

Responsibilities

Guest Experience & Safety

• Create a fun and welcoming environment for all guests by providing friendly, energetic, and positive interactions.
• Supervise indoor play areas to ensure safety, cleanliness, and adherence to OODAZU rules.
• Engage with children and families through play and conversation to enhance their experience.
• Monitor, address, and report any safety concerns or maintenance issues promptly. Assist with basic upkeep.
• Maintain a helpful, flexible presence wherever needed.

Programs and Events

• PARTIES- Assist with birthday parties and group events, including setup, hosting, serving, and cleanup.
• CAMP- Support camp programming when schools are closed by helping lead activities, supervising campers, and ensuring a safe, positive experience.
• AFTERNOON ENRICHMENT- Lead afternoon enrichment groups of up to 15 children (ages facilitate crafts, gym games, and homework stations
• SPORTS- Assist with coaching sports activities and managing sports facility spaces

Operations & Facility Management

• FRONT DESK- Support front desk operations as needed, including guest check-in, waiver verification, and retail transactions.
• RETAIL- Assist with retail operations, including restocking, merchandising, and maintaining a tidy boutique.
• CAFE- Assist with cafe operation, including food prep, sales, and service.
• BALLOONS- Prepare and inflate balloons for retail orders, parties, and events.
• Maintain facility cleanliness, including play zones, party rooms, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
• Restock, clean, and support opening/closing duties.
• Follow all health and safety protocols
• Adapt to various roles within the facility as needed.

Afternoon Enrichment Drivers Only

• Safely operate a 15-passenger van to pick up children from local schools.

Compensation: We offer competitive hourly pay in addition to benefits, including complimentary playtime for your age-appropriate kids and discounts on other OODAZU products and services.
