FedEx Delivery Driver

Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods to various locations while ensuring timely and safe deliveries. This role requires excellent customer service skills, as well as the ability to handle heavy lifting and operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks.

Duties

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including box trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload products efficiently, ensuring proper handling of items to prevent damage.
• Follow assigned routes for deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients during deliveries.
• Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation as required.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization.
• Utilize equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks for loading and unloading tasks.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Delivery Driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with clients.
• Experience in warehouse operations is a plus.
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and route driving is essential.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks as required by the job.
• Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is advantageous.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
