Construction Foreman

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Construction Supervisor to lead and oversee construction projects from start to finish. In this pivotal role, you will coordinate daily operations on-site, supervise construction teams, ensure safety compliance, and maintain high-quality standards. Duties

• Lead and supervise construction crews, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project plans.
• Develop and manage detailed project schedules using construction management software such as Primavera P6 or ProCore, ensuring timely completion of all phases.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately to guide construction activities.
• Coordinate procurement of materials and equipment, including heavy machinery like Ohmmeters for electrical testing and pipeline components where applicable.
• Monitor daily site activities for safety compliance with OSHA standards; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections.
• Oversee quality control processes to ensure work meets specified standards; implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage project budgets by tracking costs, controlling expenses, and preparing progress reports.
• Review contracts, change orders, and project documentation to ensure clarity and compliance with project scope.
• Utilize construction management software such as Bluebeam or Primavera P6 for document control, RFIs (Requests for Information), submittals, and reporting.
• Conduct site inspections regularly to assess progress, identify potential issues early, and coordinate solutions promptly.
• Supervise the installation of pipelines or other specialized systems as required by project specifications.
• Maintain clear communication with clients, architects, engineers, and team members to facilitate smooth project execution.

Experience

• Proven management experience in construction projects with a strong background in supervising teams on-site.
• Extensive hands-on construction site experience across various phases of building or infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid or equivalent tools for scheduling and estimating.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment.
• Experience reading blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
• Demonstrated ability in construction estimating, budgeting, and cost control measures.
• Skilled in managing contracts, change orders, and project documentation with attention to detail.
• Ability to oversee quality control procedures ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Supervising experience that highlights leadership skills in managing diverse teams effectively.
• Knowledge of pipeline installation processes or electrical testing procedures using tools like Ohmmeters is a plus.
