OFFICE MANAGER
This is a key role in a small but growing team based in Winter Garden, FL.
Beat The Street custom builds high-end entertainer coaches and leases them with our own driver to live music artists, who use them to tour across the USA and Canada. Our workshop of skilled trades people has nearly 30 staff and our driving team is at 60 and growing.
What you'll do
- You'll wear many hats And be able to swap between them quickly and seamlessly.
- You will report directly to our General Manager and help to administer the company's relationships with our insurance, legal, accounting and banking partners
- In addition, you will work alongside our Operations Manager, Financial Controller, Leasing Manager and Production Manager to offer support in their areas of responsibility.
- Manage sensitive matters with a high level of confidentiality, common sense and discretion
- Take the lead as the company's HR resource and assist in the recruitment, onboarding/offboarding of employees along with our Operations Manager
- Take the lead as the company's IT equipment and service co-ordinator (with 3
rd
party backup) - Assist in the administration of payroll, workers compensation, healthcare and our 401K scheme
- Draft and prepare internal announcements and help to organize team building events/staff birthdays
- Organize and coordinate external marketing efforts, such as trade shows/conferences and oversee special projects
- You'll be comfortable using Microsoft Office and be willing to learn the specific industry software that our company uses
- Screen incoming telephone calls; take and deliver accurate messages; respond to requests by gathering and providing information and referring non-routine calls to the appropriate person
- Be responsive to emails/texts/phone calls, with contact outside normal business hours
- You'll be an enthusiastic player in a collaborative, always improving what we do, culture
What we're looking for
- Solid administration experience of working in a manufacturing or leasing company
- Be creative and enjoy working within an entrepreneurial environment
- Excellent communication and time management skills; proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate sound judgment across a variety of situations, supported by excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Can maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities
- Be personable and approachable
- Be fully prepared to help when extra hands are needed
- Experience of the world of live music touring would be a huge bonus
What you'll get
- Salary, depending on experience: $70 to $80K pa
- A company cell phone/number (can also add own number if you wish)
- Eight paid public holidays per year
- 80 hours paid vacation after 90 days. 120 hours at the start of your 3rd year, increasing to 160 hrs at the starts of your 7
th
year and 200 hours at the start of your 10
th
year. - Healthcare benefits after 90 days via an ICHRA (Individual Cover Health Reimbursement Arrangement)
- 401K scheme eligibility after one year
