Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a baker. This role is essential to ensuring the quality and presentation of our food products and contributing to an exceptional customer experience. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and preparation, with a particular emphasis on baking however baking experience is not necessary if the candidate has a passion for learning and is willing to learn.

Hours

Monday & Tuesday mornings from 9:30 - 2:30.

Duties

• Prepare and bake a variety of desserts and other baked goods according to established recipes and standards.
• Decorate desserts with creativity and precision, ensuring visual appeal for customers.
• Assist in food preparation tasks, including chopping, mixing, and cooking as needed.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations.
• Making and baking bread.

Skills

• Experience in food production and preparation within a culinary environment.
• Strong baking skills with knowledge of various pastry techniques.
• Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations.
• Excellent knife skills for efficient food handling and preparation.
• Previous experience in catering or restaurant settings is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

Must have or be willing to obtain a valid food handlers certification.
