Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner with a strong interest or background in weight management. This position offers flexible, negotiable hours and the opportunity to work closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare and administrative professionals, all dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Prior experience in weight loss is preferred but not required.

Role Overview:
Seeking a Nurse Practitioner with interest or experience in weight management. Responsibilities include:
- Assess and manage patients for weight loss medications
- Review medical history and verify conditions, and treatment goals, while adjusting treatment plans as needed all required documentation is complete for patient care and medication management
- Ensure complete documentation
- Conduct patient follow-ups
- Prescribe and order prescription and/or compounded medications according to state and federal guidelines and obtain prior authorizations as needed
- Oversee scheduling to ensure efficient operation
- Support marketing and outreach
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Contribute to clinic operations and support profitability
- Provide training and education to staff
- Perform other clinical duties as required
Requirements:
- NC Nurse Practitioner license
- Board Certification
- Knowledge of HIPAA/OSHA
- Teamwork and independent practice skills
- Strong communication and counseling skills
