PRN - Varied shift/schedule

Job Description:

• Operates MRI equipment to produce images for diagnostic purposes, as directed by the Radiologists and performs diagnostic procedures according to established standards and practices.
• Under the broad direction of the Radiologist, the MR technologist performs scans of selected portions of the anatomy as requested by the physician.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree from an institution accredited by an agency that the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) recognizes, or military training graduate of JRCERT-accredited program required, or higher.
• Registered or Registry Eligible by the ARRT required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active licensure through the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy preferred.
• Two years of experience working as an MRI Technologist in a hospital or medical imagining facility preferred.
• BLS preferred upon hire, required within 90 days of hire
