This position is best suited for someone looking for part-time work of 20-25 hours a week. This company has two locations and employee is responsible to work at each location which are 30 minutes apart in Fremont and Danville. This position is best suited for someone looking for spending money and to stay busy during the week. This is an hourly position with no benefits. We are a small office that has been in practice going on 24 years. Our office and patients are very fun healthy. They look forward to coming in for care and seeing you at the front desk. PLEASE only apply if the above sound like it would be a fit for you. Traveling to both offices is a must.

Responsibilities

  • Greet patients with warmth and enthusiasm, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere at the front desk
  • Schedule appointments using EMR (Electronic Medical Record) systems such as ChiroHD ensuring accurate patient information entry
  • Currently a cash-practice, must be good at keeping balances and collecting money. For possible future need, past billing experience may be a benefit.
  • Handle multi-line phone systems with professional phone etiquette, responding promptly to inquiries and appointment requests
  • Maintain organized medical records, including documentation review and filing of patient charts in our EHR system.
  • Assist with intake procedures, and updating patient care plans to support clinical staff
  • Use computer skills such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Google Docs) for administrative tasks like data entry and report generation
  • Support office management by coordinating clinic schedules, managing medical records, and ensuring smooth front desk operations

Experience

  • Prior clinic or medical office experience is highly preferred, especially in chiropractic or dental settings
  • Familiarity with medical terminology, CPT coding, ICD-9/10 coding, and medical billing practices is essential for accurate documentation and reimbursement processes
  • Experience working with EMR/EHR systems such as ChiroHD
  • Bilingual abilities are a plus to serve diverse patient populations effectively
  • Strong clerical skills including data entry (10 key typing), and managing multi-line phone systems are necessary for success in this role
  • Excellent customer service skills combined with professional phone etiquette will help create a positive patient experience
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance standards ensures confidentiality and security of health information management
