Class B CDL Driver

Chardon Oil Company is looking for a driver with a Class B CDL and Hazmat certification. We are a local, family-owned business that has existed since 1952 in Chardon, Ohio. Chardon Oil is looking for a truck driver who is motivated and great with customers. Attention to detail is key as we deliver a multitude of products for residential and commercial purposes, as well as to many Amish households and businesses. Chardon Oil prides itself on not only treating our employees like family, but our customers as well.

Responsibilities:

o Load, unload, prepare and inspect your delivery truck

o Follow route and schedule

o Delivering product to customers each day (both residential and commercial)

o Making sure your truck has the correct placards, meeting DOT standards

o Complete logs and reports accurately

Qualifications:

o Valid CDL Class B license with Tank & Hazmat endorsements

o Ability to meet all DOT requirements, including drug screening and random testing

o Must be reliable and on time

o Must be able to adapt to changes during the day

o Possible weekends (potential overtime)
