Duties

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment efficiently and thoroughly
• Maintain cleanliness of dishwashing stations and surrounding areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards
• Assist with food preparation tasks such as organizing supplies and handling ingredients as needed
• Support bussing efforts by clearing tables and resetting dining areas promptly
• Aid in basic food handling duties during busy service times or catering events
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during banquet setups or large events
• Follow proper procedures for waste disposal, recycling, and chemical use to promote a safe working environment

Experience

• Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred, especially in fast-paced environments
• Familiarity with food service operations including bussing, food prep, or catering is a plus
• Experience working in banquet settings or hotel kitchens is advantageous
• Knowledge of cleaning protocols and food handling safety standards is beneficial
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a busy kitchen or dining setting
• Basic understanding of culinary processes or kitchen workflows enhances performance in this role
