This includes preparing shipping documents, coordinating with carriers, verifying package contents, and ensuring that all items are packaged correctly and securely. A strong understanding of **logistics** and a commitment to **safety** are essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You will be required to wear **PPE** and follow all company **safety** guidelines. Responsibilities:
- Prepare shipping labels, bills of lading, and other shipping documentation.
- Verify order accuracy against shipping documents.
- Package items securely and appropriately for shipment.
- Coordinate with shipping carriers for pickups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate shipping records and track shipments.
- Adhere to all **safety** procedures and protocols.
- Use **PPE** as required.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external carriers.
- Assist with **logistics** planning as needed.
- Perform tasks involving **lifting** and moving packages up to 40 lbs.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in shipping or **logistics** is preferred.
- Proficiency with shipping software and basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Physical ability to perform **lifting** and moving of packages.
- Commitment to **safety** and proper use of **PPE**.
