We are looking for a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Provo, Utah! In this vital role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating forklifts to move, load, unload, and stack materials within our warehouse. The ideal candidate possesses excellent spatial awareness, a strong understanding of forklift safety procedures, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment. You will play a key part in maintaining the flow of goods, ensuring accurate placement of inventory, and supporting shipping and receiving operations. Safety is our top priority, and all candidates must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of and adherence to all safety regulations, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This position requires the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, work independently, and maintain focus for extended periods. Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and trailers.
- Move inventory to and from storage areas, production lines, and shipping/receiving docks.
- Stack and organize materials securely and accurately.
- Perform pre-operation inspections and routine maintenance on forklifts.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock placement.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Properly use and maintain required PPE at all times.
- Support the logistics team with material handling needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications:
- Valid Forklift Operator certification.
- Proven experience operating various types of forklifts.
- Excellent knowledge of forklift safety procedures and regulations.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Strong spatial awareness and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Understanding of warehouse operations and logistics.
- Commitment to workplace safety and proper PPE usage.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
