Join our warehouse team as a Warehouse Associate in Grand Rapids, Michigan! We are looking for dependable individuals to assist with a variety of warehouse functions, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping. This role is essential for the smooth operation of our logistics and distribution center. You will contribute to maintaining an organized and safe work environment while handling products efficiently. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unpack, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Stock shelves and designated areas with incoming merchandise.
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately using pick lists and RF scanners.
- Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring proper packaging and labeling.
- Load and unload delivery trucks.
- Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and hand trucks safely.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, following all warehouse safety guidelines.
- Wear and maintain all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Perform lifting of products and materials as required, using proper lifting techniques.
- Assist with inventory counts and stocktaking.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics operations.
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus.
- Ability to read and understand warehouse documents and labels.
- Experience with RF scanners is desirable.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
- Capability of lifting up to 50 pounds on a regular basis.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Awareness of safety regulations and the importance of PPE in a logistics setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Reliability and a strong work ethic.
