Join our vibrant team as a Warehouse Associate in Washington, D.C. We are looking for reliable and diligent individuals to contribute to our warehouse operations. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping goods, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all tasks. This role is fundamental to our logistics chain, and a commitment to Safety and quality is essential. The ideal candidate will be a team player, possess good physical stamina for tasks involving Lifting, and maintain a strong work ethic. We value individuals who are proactive in maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments.
- Accurately pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
- Organize and store inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and Safety procedures, including proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Participate in inventory control activities, such as cycle counting.
- Assist with loading outbound shipments.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of basic warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Commitment to Safety and following instructions.
