This role is critical to our customer satisfaction, ensuring that products are handled with care and shipped correctly. You will be responsible for locating items within the warehouse, preparing them for shipment, and ensuring they are packaged securely to prevent damage during transit. A keen eye for detail and the ability to work at a good pace are essential. Safety is a top priority in our facility, and all employees must adhere to safety guidelines and utilize the correct PPE. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items for customer orders using a scanner or list.
- Pack orders with appropriate materials to ensure product safety.
- Verify order accuracy before final packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Meet established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Assist with inventory control and cycle counts as needed.
- Handle products carefully to prevent damage.
- Support logistics operations by ensuring timely order fulfillment.
- Safely perform lifting of items up to 50 lbs.
Previous experience in a warehouse or fulfillment role is preferred. Ability to read and interpret order information accurately. Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods. Capacity for lifting up to 50 lbs. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Understanding of basic logistics principles. Must wear required PPE. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
