Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order specifications.
- Verify product codes and quantities against pick lists or system data.
- Handle products with care to prevent damage.
- Stage picked items for the packing and shipping departments.
- Maintain an organized and clean picking area.
- Adhere to all company safety regulations and policies, including the proper use of PPE.
- Meet or exceed picking productivity targets.
- Participate in inventory cycle counts and other warehouse duties as assigned.
- Communicate any order discrepancies or issues to supervisors immediately.
- Work effectively as part of a team to ensure efficient order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Prior experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
- Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Team-oriented with good communication skills.
- Commitment to safety and willingness to use PPE.
