We are seeking a reliable Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Baltimore, Maryland. In this critical role, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently retrieving products from our inventory to fulfill customer orders. Your attention to detail and speed are essential for maintaining our high standards of service and ensuring the smooth flow of our logistics operations. Key responsibilities include using pick lists or scanning devices to locate items on warehouse shelves, carefully gathering the correct quantities, and staging them for the packing process. You will also be involved in maintaining an organized and clean work environment, adhering to all safety procedures, and assisting with inventory tasks as needed. The ideal candidate possesses a strong work ethic, is highly organized, and can work effectively both independently and as part of a team. While previous experience in order picking or warehouse work is a plus, we provide thorough training. This position requires physical stamina, including standing, walking, bending, and the ability to perform frequent lifting of up to 50 lbs. Compliance with all safety regulations and the consistent use of required PPE, such as safety vests and gloves, is mandatory. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse inventory based on order requirements.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to locate and retrieve products efficiently.
- Ensure the correct quantity and type of items are picked for each order.
- Stage picked items in designated areas for packing.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Adhere to all company safety policies and procedures, including the use of PPE.
- Assist with inventory cycle counts and stock checks.
- Collaborate with team members to meet order fulfillment targets.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Ability to perform moderate to heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy are essential.
- Good organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks.
- Team player with effective communication skills.
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and wear required PPE.
