Accounting Technician

What You'll Do

Accounting Technician Responsibilities:

• Freight

• Prepare and send invoices and credit/debit notes

• Track payments and send Statement of Accounts

• Resolve billing discrepancies

• Set-up and maintain customer files and assist in credit application

• Assist in follow up of past due accounts and collections

• Prepare regular and ad hoc freight and aging reports

• Update pricing template and system information

• Set-up and maintain rebates and promotional programs
• Various other tasks assigned

What We're Looking For
We're seeking someone with a strong work ethic, a desire to learn, and a collaborative attitude. To thrive in this role, you'll need:

• A solid foundation in accounting, with at least 3 years of experience in accounts payable, accounts receivable or general accounting.
• A willingness to learn and grow.
• Strong numerical and clerical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and accounting software.

Work Schedule

• Full-time, on-site role.
• Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, 7:30AM-4:00PM.

Pay: $21.50-$23.00 per hour
