– 12 month FTC – Pearson Job Purpose
This role leads the design and development of vocational teaching and learning products and services, including qualifications, assessments, End-Point-Assessments, and digital or printed content.
It ensures solutions are learner‑centred, meet regulatory requirements, and support progression. Responsibilities
Generate evidence‑based insights for product design aligned to business strategy. Design and develop products that attract learners, meet stakeholder needs, and comply with regulatory, client, and Pearson quality policies. Manage time, budget, and quality of product delivery, recruiting, briefing, training, and performance‑managing writing teams. Collaborate across Pearson to ensure smooth qualification implementation and technical accuracy through the lifecycle. Contribute to sector strategy development, manage OPEX and CAPEX budgets, and drive continuous improvement of departmental processes. Qualifications and Experience
Degree level or equivalent. Experience of UK and/or international education markets and qualification design. Commercial focus balanced with regulatory and assessment validity. Assessment techniques knowledge, virtual team leadership, and project management experience. Skills and Competencies
