Freelance Reel Maker

Digityce Media Inc. is a dynamic digital marketing company based in Calgary, Alberta, specializing in high-impact, data-driven social media strategies. We are seeking an experienced and creative Freelance Reel Maker to join our content creation team and help us push the boundaries of short-form video content for a diverse range of clients.

We are seeking an experienced freelance content creator and editor specializing in Instagram Reels, TikToks, and YouTube Shorts. This is a project-based role requiring a keen eye for current social trends, strong storytelling ability, and technical proficiency in video editing.

Key Responsibilities -

• Produce a high volume of engaging, trend-aligned short-form videos based on briefs, raw footage, and existing client assets.
• Stay constantly up-to-date with the latest social media trends, sounds, effects, and best practices across all short-form video platforms.
• Edit videos to a high standard, incorporating relevant graphics, dynamic transitions, on-screen text overlays, and trending audio/music.
• Ensure all content aligns with the client's brand guidelines, tone, and specific campaign objectives.
• Work closely with our Social Media Strategists and Content Managers to ensure content is delivered on time and meets performance goals.
• Review and refine content based on feedback to ensure error-free, high-quality final deliverables.

What You Bring -

• Minimum of 2 years of professional experience creating and editing short-form video content for brands.
• Mandatory: Must utilize proper video recording equipment (e.g., modern DSLR/Mirrorless camera, high-end smartphone with stabilization, and lighting/audio gear) to produce high-quality assets.
• Expertise in mobile and desktop video editing software (e.g., CapCut, Premiere Pro).
• Deep understanding of social media trends and platform best practices (Reels, TikTok, Shorts).
• Highly organized, reliable, and capable of working independently to meet strict deadlines.
• Must be eligible to work in Canada. A strong portfolio/reel of work is mandatory.

Job Type: Freelance

Pay: $200.00-$1,000.00 per week
