Forklift & Packaging Equipment Operator (Second Shift)

ARCATRANS is hiring a reliable Forklift & Packaging Equipment Operator to support our daily warehouse, packaging, and transportation operations. This role is hands-on and also includes paperwork related to shipments and packaging tasks.

Schedule (Second Shift)

• Monday to Thursday: 2:00 PM – 9:00 PM
• Friday: 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM (midnight)

Total: 38–40 hours/week

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Equipment

• Operate forklift safely to load/unload, move pallets, and stage shipments
• Operate packaging equipment (training provided depending on the equipment)
• Pick, pack, wrap, label, and prepare orders for shipment

Transportation & Packaging Paperwork

• Prepare and verify shipment paperwork (BOLs, labels, packing slips, internal forms)
• Update shipment statuses, scan documents.
• Coordinate with dispatch/operations team for pickups, staging, and order readiness

Requirements

• Forklift experience (license/certification is an asset; experience matters most)
• Comfortable with physical work (lifting, moving products, standing/walking)
• Basic computer skills (scanning, email, simple data entry, Excel/Google Sheets)
• Strong attention to detail (counts, labels, paperwork accuracy)
• Punctual and dependable—this shift needs consistency

Assets (Nice to Have)

• Experience in transportation/logistics warehouse
• Experience with packaging/labeling equipment
• Familiar with shipping documentation and warehouse processes
