IT Technical Support Analyst

Foremost has an immediate opening for an Intermediate IT Technical Support Analyst, located at our facility in Lloydminster, Alberta. As an Intermediate IT Technical Support Analyst at Foremost, you will be assisting with end user support, account maintenance, desktop and peripheral troubleshooting, support and much more. You will work towards ensuring smooth operations and limited downtime for the entire Foremost user group. The selected individual will possess good computer and networking skills and be a self-starter with excellent communication habits. The ability to work with limited supervision is required

Key Responsibilities:

Manage, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the following:

• Windows 11 desktops, Microsoft 365, miscellaneous desktop software
• Manage daily tickets and provide helpdesk support & coverage
• Perform Windows server support and troubleshooting as needed.
• Connectivity testing to Network Infrastructure including; switches, firewalls, VPN portals & Wi-Fi access points
• Microsoft Virtual Applications and desktops
• Virtual Infrastructure (Nutanix), Storage, and Server infrastructure
• Escalate tickets in a timely manner for additional support/troubleshooting
• Document processes & procedures
• Ensure software license compliance
• Provide both onsite and remote technical support

Qualifications:

• An IT related Degree or Diploma is preferred, however relevant work experience will be considered
• 3+ years experience in an IT support role
• Experience working with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Exchange Online, Microsoft SharePoint and ERP applications
• Ability to learn quickly and become proficient with new technology and Software
• Working knowledge of Information Technology security best practices
• Well organized, methodical, and proficient in a variety of Technologies
• High level of ethics and integrity
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple competing tasks
• Superior time-management, problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Excellent written and verbal communications ability
