We are seeking an experienced Body Shop Manager to provide overall leadership and direction for our collision repair facility. This role is responsible for driving operational performance, supporting the team, and achieving the company's financial and business objectives while maintaining a strong focus on quality repairs and customer experience.

The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who sets clear expectations, leads by example, and understands how to balance people, process, and performance in a production-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight of the collision repair operation
  • Ensure the shop consistently meets or exceeds sales goals, performance targets, and operational benchmarks
  • Analyze shop performance and execute strategies to improve efficiency, profitability, and workflow
  • Lead, coach, and develop team members while setting clear expectations for quality repairs and professional conduct
  • Recruit, train, schedule, and manage the performance of all shop employees
  • Ensure all roles and responsibilities within the shop are clearly defined and understood
  • Support management in handling customer and employee concerns with professionalism, care, and timely resolution
  • Maintain strong working relationships with customers, insurance partners, and internal departments
  • Collaborate with ownership and leadership on business initiatives, process improvements, and special events
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and standards are followed consistently
  • Review and print the Daily Shop Clock Report and hold team members accountable for accurate time tracking
  • Promote a positive, safe, and productive work environment

What We're Looking For

  • Previous experience managing or leading a collision repair facility or department
  • Strong understanding of collision repair operations, production flow, and performance metrics
  • Proven leadership and people-management skills
  • Ability to analyze performance data and implement effective improvement strategies
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Organized, accountable, and results-driven
  • Ability to lead by example and serve as a role model for the team
