We are currently seeking a
Retail Client Manager

to lead the development and execution of sales and growth strategies for a portfolio of assigned brands. This role is ideal for a strategic, relationship‑driven leader who thrives at the intersection of client management, retail execution, and commercial results.

The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Director, Stack Merchandising, the
Retail Client Manager

is responsible for driving sales performance and brand development across assigned retail accounts and categories. You will develop and execute short‑ and long‑term sales and marketing strategies, manage day‑to‑day client and customer relationships, and ensure sales targets are achieved within approved spending guidelines. This role blends strategic planning, data‑driven decision‑making, and hands‑on customer engagement to deliver profitable growth for both clients and Concord National LLP.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Strategy & Target Delivery

  • Building and executing on short‑term and long‑term sales and marketing strategies
  • Setting and delivering sales targets within all assigned accounts and categories
  • Achieving targets within the assigned budgeted spending guidelines

Internal Collaboration & Brand Support

  • Working closely with internal teams to achieve sales targets and priorities against assigned brands and clients
  • Assisting in the development of the brand franchise

Client, Principal & Account Management

  • Managing day‑to‑day communication to and from various principals, as well as all related key processes including sales analysis, critical paths, forecasting procedures, retail audits, business reviews, and category management
  • Assisting in the management of head office and day‑to‑day business with a defined retail, drug, and mass customer base

Business Planning & New Product Execution

  • Developing business plans on current businesses and coordinating new product launches and initiatives
  • Being responsible for the creation and execution of customer‑ and client‑specific business plans

Data Analysis & Performance Measurement

  • Being responsible for actively preparing and analyzing data for customers, clients, and internal use
  • Assisting in establishing internal processes to measure sales performance by customer, client, and brand

Promotions & Growth Initiatives

  • Developing customer‑specific promotional strategies to execute profitable sales and growth

Market Awareness & New Business Support

  • Being connected to the broader market to assess new business opportunities and assisting in the pursuit of new clients

Operational Excellence & Culture

  • Complying with all Standing Operational Procedures and company policies and procedures
  • Acting as a
    Concord National LLP ambassador
    , exemplifying company culture and values in all internal and external communications and interactions

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Post‑secondary education in
    Sales, Marketing, Business
    , or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience
    in sales or marketing within the
    CPG industry
    .
  • Experience working with major retail, drug, or mass customer channels is strongly preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Strong strategic, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Highly action‑oriented with strong initiative and follow‑through.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship‑building skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation abilities in both formal and informal settings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently while effectively contributing to a team.

This hybrid role requires working at our Mississauga office two days per week, or more when business needs arise.

Compensation & Benefits
