Our dynamic logistics team in Huntsville, Alabama is seeking a dedicated Distribution Center Associate to join our growing operation. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring the smooth and efficient flow of goods within our state-of-the-art facility. Your responsibilities will include receiving incoming shipments, accurately stocking inventory, fulfilling orders, and preparing them for shipment. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming inventory against purchase orders.
- Accurately pick, pack, and stage orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as pallet jacks and hand trucks, as needed.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, especially regarding safety and quality control.
- Participate in inventory counts and cycle counts.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a team. Prior experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus, but not required as comprehensive training will be provided. You must be comfortable with repetitive tasks and able to perform physical labor, including regular lifting of up to 50 pounds. Compliance with all safety protocols and the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is mandatory. This role requires a commitment to safety and efficiency in all aspects of your work. Understanding of basic inventory management principles is beneficial. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, punctual, and eager to learn and grow within our organization.
