Join our vibrant logistics team in Orlando, Florida, as a Material Handler! This role is critical for managing the flow of goods within our facility. You will be responsible for moving, organizing, and storing materials using various equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient and safe handling of all inventory. The ideal candidate is reliable, safety-conscious, and possesses good physical stamina. You will play a key part in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting our overall warehouse operations. We are committed to providing a safe work environment, and all employees must strictly follow Safety guidelines and wear the required PPE. This position offers a great chance to develop your skills in material handling and logistics within a dynamic company.
Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and into storage areas.
- Transport materials between different departments and warehouse locations.
- Organize inventory in designated areas and maintain accurate records.
- Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance on equipment.
- Adhere to all company Safety regulations and procedures.
- Properly wear and utilize all required PPE.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
- Must be able to perform tasks involving frequent Lifting of items up to 60 lbs.
- Contribute to efficient warehouse logistics.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a warehouse setting. Forklift certification is a strong asset. Knowledge of warehouse Safety procedures. Ability to work in a physically demanding role. Good communication and teamwork skills. Must be reliable and punctual. Understanding of basic logistics principles is beneficial.
