Become an Order Picker at our bustling distribution center in Jacksonville, Florida! You will be responsible for navigating the warehouse to locate and retrieve specific items for orders, preparing them for shipment. Accuracy and efficiency are paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately locate and retrieve items for customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Stage picked orders for packing and shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all **safety** procedures and protocols.
- Operate pallet jacks or other relevant equipment as needed.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Report any discrepancies or issues to supervision.
Requirements:
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capability of **lifting** up to 45 lbs.
- Must wear company-provided **PPE**, including safety shoes and vests.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Familiarity with warehouse **logistics** is a plus.
- Commitment to maintaining a **safety**-first workplace.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
