Join our expanding warehouse operation in Fort Worth, Texas, as an Order Picker! This critical role supports our efficient **logistics** by ensuring that customer orders are accurately selected from inventory. You will be responsible for locating, retrieving, and preparing items for shipment, playing a key part in customer satisfaction. Maintaining a safe working environment is our top priority; therefore, adherence to all **safety** regulations and the consistent use of **PPE** are mandatory. This position requires stamina and involves significant **lifting**, walking, and standing throughout your shift. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from designated warehouse locations according to order specifications.
- Use RF scanners or pick lists to guide selection process.
- Inspect items for damage before packing.
- Package orders securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Stage completed orders for shipment.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and **safety**-compliant work area.
- Strictly follow all company **safety** policies and **PPE** requirements.
- Participate in inventory counts and stock checks.
- Support the overall **logistics** flow within the warehouse.
- Operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment safely.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in order picking or warehouse operations is advantageous.
- Capability to **lift** up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong organizational skills and a high level of accuracy.
- Awareness of **safety** procedures and the proper use of **PPE**.
- Basic knowledge of warehouse **logistics** and inventory systems.
- Ability to perform tasks efficiently in a demanding environment.
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Team player with good communication skills.
