We are seeking motivated Picker/Packers to join our bustling e-commerce fulfillment center in New York City, New York. In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately picking items for customer orders and carefully packing them for shipment. This is a fast-paced environment where efficiency and accuracy are key to our logistics success. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse shelves according to order lists.
- Verify picked items against order details to ensure accuracy.
- Pack items securely and efficiently using appropriate shipping materials.
- Prepare packages for shipment, including applying labels and necessary documentation.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and surrounding areas.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and procedures.
- Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) when necessary.
- Meet established productivity and quality standards.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment.
- Communicate any order discrepancies or issues to supervisors.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Picker/Packer or in a warehouse environment is a plus. Ability to stand, walk, bend, and stoop for extended periods. Must be capable of frequent Lifting and moving of packages, up to 30 lbs. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced logistics setting. Good communication and teamwork skills. Must be reliable and punctual. Adherence to all Safety guidelines is mandatory. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States. This role is fundamental to our logistics chain.
