We are seeking an efficient and reliable Order Picker to join our busy warehouse in Denver, Colorado. This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that customer orders are accurately and quickly assembled for shipment. You will be responsible for navigating our warehouse, selecting the correct items based on order specifications, and preparing them for the packing stage. Your dedication to accuracy and speed directly impacts our service delivery and customer satisfaction. Be prepared to engage in tasks requiring physical activity and a keen eye for detail.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products from designated locations within the warehouse using pick lists or RF scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details to minimize errors.
- Transport picked items to the packing station in a safe and organized manner.
- Maintain an organized and clean work area, ensuring aisles are clear and equipment is properly stored.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, including the correct use of PPE and safe lifting techniques.
- Perform routine checks on picking equipment and report any issues promptly.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Contribute to overall warehouse efficiency and workflow within the logistics team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret pick tickets and product labels.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment is a plus.
- Must be able to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Capacity for frequent Lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of accuracy.
- Understanding of warehouse safety procedures and basic logistics principles.
- Reliable, punctual, and a team player.
