Are you a motivated individual with a keen eye for detail? Our Philadelphia, Pennsylvania distribution center is looking for dedicated Picker/Packers to join our team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting and preparing customer orders for shipment. This involves using scanning technology to locate items, carefully picking them from shelves, and ensuring they are packaged securely and efficiently. You'll be part of a fast-paced environment where accuracy and speed are paramount to our Logistics success. We prioritize the health and Safety of our employees, providing comprehensive training and all necessary PPE . This role requires individuals who are comfortable with manual tasks, including frequent bending, reaching, and Lifting of moderate weight items. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners and pick lists.
- Pack items securely and efficiently into appropriate shipping containers.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Operate pallet jacks and hand trucks as needed.
- Label packages correctly for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation and contribute to overall warehouse tidiness.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and Safety guidelines.
- Meet established productivity and accuracy targets.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or inventory discrepancies to supervisors.
- Wear and utilize all required PPE , such as safety shoes and gloves.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse, picking, or packing role is a plus.
- Familiarity with RF scanning equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina for standing, walking, bending, and reaching throughout the shift.
- Capability of Lifting up to 30-40 pounds regularly.
- Willingness to follow Safety procedures and wear PPE .
- Basic understanding of Logistics and warehouse operations.
- Team player with good communication skills.
