Join our growing team as a Receiving Clerk in Raleigh, North Carolina! This role is fundamental to the success of our **Logistics** operations, ensuring that all incoming shipments are processed accurately and efficiently. You will be responsible for unloading trucks, checking deliveries against purchase orders, inspecting merchandise for quality and damage, and accurately recording all received items in our inventory system. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and understands the importance of **Safety** in the workplace. This position involves physical tasks, including the **Lifting** of goods up to 55 lbs, and requires standing, walking, and moving throughout the receiving area for extended periods. You will work closely with other warehouse personnel to ensure a smooth flow of goods. Consistent use of provided **PPE**, such as safety vests and boots, and adherence to all **Safety** regulations are mandatory.
Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments in a timely manner.
- Accurately compare received items against purchase orders and packing slips.
- Conduct thorough inspections of goods for damage or discrepancies.
- Enter receiving information into the inventory management system.
- Organize and stage received products for distribution or storage.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly receiving dock.
- Follow all **Safety** guidelines and wear required **PPE**.
- Report any issues or discrepancies to management immediately.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation as needed.
- Contribute to a positive and productive warehouse environment.
