This position is vital to our distribution center's success, contributing to efficient logistics and timely order fulfillment. You will perform a range of tasks including receiving and stocking inventory, picking and packing customer orders, and preparing shipments. Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and verify incoming shipments against documentation.
- Accurately store and organize inventory within the warehouse.
- Pick items from storage to fulfill customer orders using RF scanners or pick lists.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Prepare outgoing shipments, ensuring correct labeling and documentation.
- Operate warehouse equipment safely, such as pallet jacks.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment at all times.
- Strictly follow all company safety regulations and utilize required PPE.
- Assist with inventory counts and reconciliation.
- Support the smooth operation of the overall logistics process.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Prior warehouse experience is desirable.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periods.
- Capacity to lift and move items up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety principles and practices.
- Willingness to adhere to all safety guidelines, including wearing required PPE.
